CONTEMPTIBLE HAIR TRANSPLANT

When you're thinking about getting a hair transplant, you had better take this procedure seriously. It's a real surgery that's going to require a healing period. When a doctor is performing a hair transplant on you, he will have to make incisions in you.
This goes for both the donor area where your hair will become from (the back of your head), as well as the recipient area (top of your scalp) where your donor hairs will be transplanted to. An expert can give you really nice results with relatively little healing time. But a person with less skill can really maim your head irreversibly.
Cheap Hair Transplant
When people have decided they are sick and tired of their hair loss and they want to have something done about, they'll often look into the possibility of getting a hair transplant. Since hair transplants are a very costly procedure, most people will automatically start looking around to find where they can get the cheapest possibly treatment.
The question is not whether or not you will be able to find one. It's more a question of whether or not you want to. You see, cheap hair transplants aren't exactly known to be high quality. So let's say you find a place that will give you this surgery cheap but the results aren't satisfactory. Wouldn't you rather have had a slightly more expensive hair transplant somewhere else?
In order to determine which hair transplant clinic is cheap and which one is expensive, you will have to visit a few in your near geographical vicinity. Every clinic has a consultant available that will gladly talk to you and advise you personally after having looked at your situation.
If you visit a few clinics and ask for a fixed price after having talked to a consultant, then you will be able to determine which clinic is the most affordable. It's best if you could find people on the Internet to ask them about their experience at that particular clinic. Remember, you want quality for your money!

Hair Transplant Process

Hair transplants, particularly the process known as Follicular Unit Transplant, are becoming very popular with men experiencing male pattern baldness and looking to restore a natural looking full head of hair.

Hair Transplantation is a powerful hair restoration technique that allows the surgeon to create very natural results. However, many people considering this process are put off by the myths and uncertainty around this process.
The Consultation Stage

A clinic offering hair transplants should begin with a hair consultation to determine your degree of hair loss and the best solution for you. They should consider your age, as transplants should not be performed on men in their twenties whose hair may still be developing. They should give you a realistic idea of what is possible; if your hair loss is too extensive there may be too little donor hair left and too large a balding area to restore.
The Hair Removal Stage
A small strip of skin, around 1cm wide will be removed from the back of your head where you still have plenty of thick hair. This will be done under a local anaesthetic to minimise discomfort. The edges of the wound will be sutured together and this should heal completely within a few weeks leaving a small scar which is hidden in the hair.
The Follicle Transplant Stage
The hair follicles in the strip of donor hair will be separated. Small surgical incisions will be made with a needle in the balding area of the scalp, and these follicles will be inserted either individually or in small numbers. The placement of these follicles should create a hairline as similar as possible to your original hairline to give a natural appearance.
The Recovery Stage
Most clinics will provide an area for you to rest and recover for a couple of hours before you return home. Some people experience a little swelling in the forehead for a couple of days and the scabs from the surgical incisions will be visible for about a week. New hair should begin to grow around 14-16 weeks after the operation and there will be a significant improvement in the appearance of your hair after about six months.
The Follow-Up Stage
Most men will require at least two hair transplant sessions to achieve the required results. These should be at least six months apart to allow the previous transplant to take effect. The donor hair should be removed from the same area the second time around, incorporating the original scar. Once you have had sufficient hair transplant sessions, the clinic should still offer a six month check up to be sure your transplants are growing as they are supposed to.
A hair transplant is an excellent way to improve the appearance of your hair, to regain your natural hairline, increase your confidence and make you more attractive. Once the donor hair follicles are implanted in the balding area, they should continue to grow permanently as they would have done in the back of the head.
